Appeals Policy
Candidates or parents with queries about result processing, procedures or marking outcomes may lodge a formal appeal within the specified period. Appeals may concern score-processing errors, procedural irregularities or a review of marking in accordance with the established rules.
Complaints Policy
Any concern relating to administrative services, communication arrangements, staff conduct or the examination experience may be raised through the complaints procedure. Cases involving disputes over results will be handled under the appeals procedure.
Malpractice and Maladministration
The examination places great importance on fairness and academic integrity. Malpractice may include plagiarism, impersonation, submission of work not created by the candidate, undeclared inappropriate use of artificial intelligence, and fabrication of portfolio process evidence.
Reasonable Adjustments and Special Consideration
Candidates with known learning or physical needs may apply for reasonable adjustments, subject to fairness. If illness, injury, bereavement or a serious unforeseen circumstance occurs before or after the examination, or on the examination day, an application for special consideration may be made in accordance with the relevant procedure.
Safeguarding Children
